i think the circumstances under which i read this book are the only circumstances under which id ever read it. i dont like the title to start with. i still dont like the title. i hate the title, & the author, audrey niffeneggar, is better than that. it's bad representation of her work. also, i dont like contemporary love stories. but i read

Lol when I started reading this review my mouth was agape with - wha...? noooo you cannot hate this too, please please not! Haha.
I mean this is just incredible story-telling wonderful characters and really well written (especially for contemporary romance, which I usually am rather crital of), like you said... no pretentious literary-isms ;)
But yeah, its one of those little gems for me that may not impress people if you tell them you have read it but that is just pure enjoyment.

I'm so jealous btw that you are at No. 7 already. ;)
