thank you for the compliment. i hope i can continue to wow and flutter... well, i know i can. for me, it's more a matter of my audience: are they in tune? the pretentious fucks. it's so funny how often we afficionados criticize our favorite artists for being sell-outs. meanwhile, we're influencing them as much as they are us... so if they're selling out, it's a reflection of our own vaccuuous pursuit. right? seriously, i'm not trying to insult you. i'm just sorting out the angel and the ass. that's what makes me fascinating. ;)
i added you because of the "half-jill, half-jack" tagline in your bio. well, firstly, i found you because i wanted to add someone with a common interest (specifically, Nine Inch Nails). secondly, my interests were piqued because of the aforementioned tagline, which reminded me so much of Hedwig and the Angry Inch, I thought it may have actually come from the movie... except that the primary objects of literary reference in that movie were Hansel and Gretel. so, i've come to no conclusions.
I wish I could take credit, but it's from a song by The Dresden Dolls, whom you should check out. They're loaded with brilliance. Even Hedwigy brilliance! Damn I love Hedwig.
But I personally do have conflict between my inner "male" and my inner "female" and the majority of me that wonders why there has to be a distinction at ALL. Stupid classifications. We are what we wish to be. The world is not clean cut into neat quarters!
I don't know... I'd have to have the opportunity to see things through the eyes of a female before I could mimic your assertion. The truth is that I am drawn by, I am fascinated, I am humbled and I am destroyed by the mere physical form of the vagina. If I had the opportunity to see the world through the eyes of a female, I'd pounce on it. I have to say that we are only as much of what we wish to be as we can.
