I'm in Bill's head. Bill's a guy in his late twenties who is partly possessed by a spirit that influences the world around Bill in ways that evades the notice of others. In terms of monetary purchases the cost is multiplied to 100 times the regular value. This ends pretty poorly for Bill.
Bill had a spat with a confidante whose name I cannot remember, but had a knack for the occult. After their split the buddy (I'll call him Chef, as that's his cover) started up a snack van. Gradually they drifted back into contact with one another. Bill was undercover but Chef knew it had been Bill visiting. Lately Bill's spirit half had begun to grow out of control, and Chef had been supplementing his meals with an herb that kept him under control. There was another frequent patron of Chef's snack van that required and ate this supplement, but it was a very hush hush endeavor.
Eventually Bill got involved with Leyla, who got captured off-screen and held for some sort of ransom. At some point a Middle Man showed up, and it was unclear whether he was or was not on Bill's side, but his help came at a steep price and with murky goals. Bill approached Chef for help and the following conversation occurred:
"So, this guy says that he will recover Leyla if you take every ounce of drugs on this cart, which you assure me you are taking."
"Yes."
"And you have been taking the food supplement I've been supplying you since we had our argument, which is keeping your other half under control."
"Yes."
"And he says that if you stop taking these drugs, and doing precisely as he orders, the zombies will come and it'll be fire, brimstone, all the rest."
"Yeah."
"Go get your boots. I'll warm up the car. I have a plan."
For reference, the (blue) burritos cost $1,288, with the "special" costing $1,348.
