the few weeks surrounding christmas has always been a time for chatting and twiddling thumbs at work and leaving early, but not this year. this december has been crazily busy, have to almost schedule time to breathe, so it feels kind of strange and not quite like the christmas i used to know. time is going too quickly! melb weather was crazy today, it's suddenly so cold. apparently there was hail the size of golf balls one suburb away, but luckily it didn't reach us.
