A couple of compositions

May 17, 2007 10:00

I have been appreciating free-verse poetry recently, so have decided to attempt to compose a couple of my own. These are free-verse in rhyme and meter, but the form (the first letter of each line an the title being the same) is called Pleiades.

When the Queen commands, who am I to refuse? Get well soon, Bee. ( Autumn )

That was an impressive endevour into free-verse. I quite enjoyed it.

I've never had the patience to write of seasons and the like. Or at least, these themes do not inspire me.

Nature is a constant source of inspiration to me. Seasons in particular are too artificial a construct for me to generally write about, but I received a request.
