I guess I'm still confused about whether you're thinking about going back for grad school or for a second B.S. I know I've talked to you about this before, and if you're going for a M.S. or PhD in nutrition, it should be free AND they should give you a stipend (either through TA or RA support). Start looking at the professors in nutrition programs at the schools you're interested in, find some that you think you might like to work with, and email them NOW to let them know that you might be interested in becoming their student. If they're interested in taking new students, they'll let you know, and they'll ask you what you're interested in. Hopefully in this process you'll find a few who are interested in having you as a student and in whose lab you'd like to work ( ... )

Snyder was paying $800 per quarter at Ohio State while he was in school. Without any loans (they were all grants). And it's all because of his financial status and age.

I was thinking of him the whole time I was typing that :)

How did he get those. Just fill out the FAFSA, or go talk to the financial aid office, or did he look for outside grants too?

Hey Lisa,
Once you're into pretty much any grad school, beyond scholarships/fellowships you'll have the ability to borrow enough in loans to cover it. Unlike undergrad, there's no shortage of loans for grad students. The companys/government expect undergrads to be helped by their families, and they'll hold their income against the student. Grad students aren't expected to have any external funds, and though the loans aren't necessarily fun, the cost won't be prohibitive.
