So what do you all have planned for August 20th, 2011? And um what do you think of the date? Good for an anniversary?

Haha does anyone know what they're going to be doing in 2011? August 20 sounds good (not assuming that i'm invited, just saying haha). the only downside to summer weddings is the fact that some people are booked every weekend in the summer. we got married smack in the middle of the summer, high vacation time, and the close friends and family made it...less close did or didn't :p however, two years notice is a pretty good notice for most haha.

Of course you will be invited! I was kinda worried about people not being able to show up, BUT i like how August 20th 2011 looks written out. Is it weird that I'm even concerned with that? LOL!

I want a summer/outdoor wedding and August is pretty much our dry month. Also I wanted a date that won't get in the way of summer school or the time I have to be back getting the classroom set up.

I have a friend who put a wedding together pretty quickly because she wanted to get married on 11.11, so I understand the importance of liking the way it's written out :).

Not to burst the bubble, but most of my friends are back in their classroom before the 20th of August ;)

That's one thing I don't like about it, but we need to save money and I need some time to get at my fighting weight.

This way you can save to come out too! LOL!
