Honestly, I think it's a combonation of all of the answers everyone has said, so far. (with the exclusion of the "i love you jeff".. but i think that's probably my favorite answer haha).. I know you said ignorance was the answer, but i don't think it can be just that.. for example, in a case i know i can relate to-- there's a girl i whom i've befriended and i've gotten to know well, but now that i've gotten to know the real her, i've found that she's ridiculously self-centered and rude, yet i sense negativity toward her.. does that make me ignorant?

yeah it does. most of the time being self ceterd and conciended is a sign of insecurety. knowing that you shouldnt think...she rude and way too into herself...thing, she has very low self esteem and try and help her with it

it's funny you say that, i was actually discussing it with my roommate and we already came to that conclusion.. that it all leads back to her insecurity. And she's actually admitted a lot to us about family history etc. that can show just that. but there isn't much i can do, nor anyone, really, about reversing her past problems.. and we've listened, which is about as much as anyone can do. but it still doesn't mean that in other ways she isn't inconsiderate of others' space/other things related. I don't know.. although i do think ignorance is one of the answers, i'm still not convinced it's the only one- it goes hand-in-hand with a few of the already suggested ideas. i asked a few people this question as well, and there seemed to be a lot of people that agreed with nadia or __1989. I'm not saying i know all, but i think one has to open their mind to several possibilities on this one

just curious, where did this question stem from/how did you come up with your answer?
