We all feared 1984, but in the long term it may be governments that will have to fear the ubiquitous cameras more in the long run...

I am awaiting the day of cheap enough memory that there are always on recorders available to the average person. School yard bullies, petty crime, most domestic abuse and abuses of power will all be on short notice from then on...

I hear interesting things on the commuter train down to NYC every day. I've been appalled by the swift addition of OWS to the downtown tourist must sees: Century 21, Ground Zero, OWS ... Yeah, discount shopping, discount patriotism, discount protests, we've got it all here, you can do it one day!

Trouble with buying politicians, apart from them being horribly overpriced, is that they don't stay bought.
