It died on me yesterday when I was making my way back home from an aborted lesson -aborted because I had to call it off after being stuck in gridlock for well over an hour and a half, perhaps two hours. It just died and wouldn't start. The RAC man he say 'mechanical trouble, big engine problem'. I couldn't her an engine knock but he said there was one -and when he finally was able to make it start it sounded like it was going on two cylinders. So, big expenditure on the horizon but I haven't got money for a big repair right now. We'll see how this plays out, need car for lessons although far less now than a few years ago. Can't get another car because Camden wouldn't give me a resident's permit (my building is a car-free development).
