So I saw the first episode of latest version of Doctor Who last night. From what I saw from the first episode, I think they did a bang up job in trying to recapture the spirit and the feeling of the old show. The actor playing the new Doctor seems to carry the wit and charms of Doctor's 4 through 6, which are my favorites ( Read more... )

Amazon.com is selling all kinds of Doctor Who DVD sets -- including one of all the existing shows from the first four Doctors for the low price of $586.95!

If you're looking for less-legal versions, I'm sure there are BitTorrents or shows on eDonkey or the like which collect most if not all of the old shows.

Thanks for the heads up. Sad fact is that this isn't even a complete set, just 26 episodes from the first four doctors. the cheapest that I have found it so far is $492.00 at Video Universe.

Hmm, I wonder what Ebay has.

Also, the BBC website has(had) links to the Dr. Who series on DVD. The tom baker collection was the most expensive.

It goes pretty well. All I really do it sit in a guard shack and make people show me their IDs (or check in trucks) so it's really easy work for like 10 bucks an hour. I'm currently on my graveyard stint, though my boss assures me that I'll be doing days again sometime in the future (hopefully not the weekend of the con). Still...I hope to win the powerball someday (and then blow it all on game books)

btw...I appologise for bugging ya the other weekend, I got my Chrises mixxed up in my cell phone and thought I was calling someone else (and only just realised it when crystal told me Chris B's number wasn't what I had listed)
