i hate how people misuse and abuse the things god has created and given us. do u really think that he approves of half the things we do? do u think right now hes looking down on this world and thinking "this is exactly what i had in mind"... i dont think so. he gives us this whole world... this beautiful world and a beautiful soul... a gift that ( Read more... )

Some people don’t believe in god so I would say they don’t necessarily feel the same way, so it’s not just you but it’s not everyone.

of course, i understand that.... and i can understand how or why someone would not believe in god. but dont u think no matter what ur religious affiliation is... whether it be catholic or atheist or satanic... cant everyone recognize the fact that people take things for granted and abuse things and hurt their bodies and others'?

i dont know what i think about this.....i agree things are taken for granted. i kinda believe in fate and all that tho...maybe its for a reason or something. why would god sit there and watch, he's god. why doesnt he change things then, or not let us come up with some of the ideas we do.

because he gave us each a free functioning brain and free will... he always gives us the choice to choose to do the right thing or the wrong thing. he gives us a conscience to help us make the right decisions... but obviously, we dont always listen to our conscience. i believe he knows the outcome... but its not necessarily the one he would like... he doesnt control us, we arent his puppets. he doesnt pull us along a certain path, but stands besides us and walks along with us, letting us choose which paths to take.

bcuz he made humans in the image of himself... hes a free thinker right? so we are to. he does everything he can to make us make the right decisions and live with him, but when it comes down to it we make the decisions ourselves. whether or not to give into the temptations surrounding us is our choice, but his spirit is with us telling us whats right and whats wrong and u can hear it... but whether or not u choose to listen is up to u. if he controlled everyones actions and thoughts there would be no point to human life...what the point is, no one alive knows... but there is one. if we didnt make decisions for ourselves and werent able to create our own journeys and together create our civilizations history... then god would be making all the decisions for everyone and hed know the outcome... theres no point in that... it would be like god directing one looong play... for what purpose? there would be none... and although we do a lot of things he doesnt like, when we do things he does like... knowing we chose to do it makes him proud ( ... )

i understand how you feel. how people can do certain things to the earth or to other people. i dont understand it at all. how can people take such things for granted? how can people purposely destruct something that was given to them as a gift? im not sure if im religious, i do believe theres a god, i dont know what i follow, but i dont understand why we live in the first place. but since god did give us life, how could we just destroy it? and hurt other peoples lives?

nothing seems to make sense. sometimes i wish i lived back in like the 30s and 40s when things were much simpler.
