I'm sorry it didn't go well. :( Though being all head-shakey sounds pretty unprofessional of them. At least you've been though an interview, though, so the next one will be easier!
:(((( I hate interviews, you always tend to over-read what they're thinking, and it's even worse when they start writing things down. Oh well. Even if you didn't get the job, at least it was experience? Good luck, anyway!
I seriously hated the "What do you do in your spare time" question... I should have thought of an answer that didn't make me sound like a completely insane person. D: But, you're right; it was an experience. :\
Seriously, this town goes nuts on Shrove Tuesday. We only have a few Polish bakeries and they can only make so many jelly donoughts on one day. People rush in and just say they want a dozen, any flavour, just "GIVE THEM!" I've seen streams of people leaving the bakery with the boxes not even closed properly because the just threw them in, paid, and made way for the other very hungry Windsorites.
No one else understands. This isn't even an Ontario thing. It's a weird Windsor/Detroit thing. o_O
What they said: you'll get better at interviews. If not, my newest gang of subversives has an entry-level opening for "Assistant Police Brutality Provoker".
Pancake day is a special day in Britain. We celebrate the birth of baby pancake - who was born and crucified on the same day, to save us from our hunger (which is a sin)! But, seriously, it's this; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pancake_day

The interview thing will get better. It's your first one! At least it's behind you: you can't ever have a first ever interview again.

I suppose you're right. But it was such a disaster I fear I might actually get WORSE. D:
