have you ever had a really painful, and im mean painful, conversation with someone where you find out something you didnt ever expect to hear? i feel like its not really resolved, but i dont want to bring it up again because i dont think i can handle that hurt again.  what am i supposed to do? man i ask that question a lot.  i guess theres nothing

ashley...i understand, i know that doesnt help but ive been in a situation that seems to feel the same as that...at least ive felt all that you listed...

It has happened to me. I did truly love them so I just let them go. If you really do love them then you will just want them to be happy, or at least that is how I feel.

the best advice i can give is to just love them as you always have, even if they're not giving that kind of love back...as hard as that is. if it's too hard for you though, then i think it's best to just, as someone said previously, "let go" so to speak. but i don't know the best answer. i don't think there is a good one for that situation. but good luck with it. i love you so much. you'll always be my hardcore buddy. call me if you ever need anything.
