isnt it funny how fans always go from "off" to "high" as the first setting instead of "off"-"low"-"med"-"high"?

its because they know you want that power right away, and that americans are too lazy to turn the knob 3 times every time to get it

I actually had that same thought about two seconds ago, when I turned my fan on, because i never want it to be on at full throttle so I have to take that extra nanosecond to turn it three clicks instead of one.

I'm truly a lazy american to get slightly worked up over this :)
