Final Stretch.

Whoa, we're getting into the final stretch here, that's a baseball term for those of you who don't know when the game's coming near a close. Yep. If the bases are loaded in my life, then I want to swing the bat when I get up to plate. Now the thing is if I swing it too hard the ball pops up and is easily caught, if I don't hit hard enough than ( Read more... )

If you ever need some advice or a pep talk about college life, by all means give me a call. I went through the whole dorm bit and it was definitely a trying time. But I had good and bad experiences and I'm always glad to find some time to share them with you.

Don't worry about losing touch with Glen, because in a lot of ways absence truly can make the heart grow fonder. Lindsay and I grew to be closer after I went to Denton, and I'm sure that'll be the same once she's been on her own in a dorm for awhile.

I'd write more inspiring things but I'm tired, so let me know if you ever want to talk! Drop me an email - pink.glitter@gmail.com - with your college fears/questions/general crap/etc. and I'll respond promptly!

Oh, thank you so much. I feel better already. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't afraid, but it's a good sort of afraid like that feeling you get in your stomach before you get on a roller coaster. You know what's going to happen but you're still afraid. But you've been on this ride before and it's good to know that I can have some one to chat-chit with it about.

Really, thank you. It's great to know that someone out there can help me quelch me and my flatware's fear of the big move...which isn't even until september first...Perhaps I'm freaking out prematurely...ah well.

I hope you and everybody else are doing well. Tell everyone hi for me!
