I'd say yeah. A friend of mine apparently died from a wound to the neck and it looks like it was already scarred over by the time she woke up here.

I wouldn't call it the afterlife, but then again everyone keeps insisting that I'm dead. Either way, I wouldn't worry about it too much. You should be glad you didn't get here a couple weeks ago!

Why, what was happening a few weeks ago?

Some explosions went off that tore up a good chunk of the city, and all the police were sent out to capture or kill all of us who got sucked here. It was a huge mess! Thankfully it all got cleared up, but we never did find out who started it.
