I keep waiting for things to “go back to normal” but I’m not even sure what that is anymore. Per the usual, it looks like I’m going to have to be the one to put in the work and get it there.

Early morning travels with mom and the kids. Heading to Az for my nieces birthday.

A full week with out Brandon. I’m already hating it.

Welp, I’ve managed to make it to the new year!two birthdays and two holidays that we didn’t end up in a clinic or hospital! I’ll take it! I have a couple of video/photo shoot requests to finish in the next week. Hopefully this year is looking up!

We’re nine days in. I’ve gone a grand total of 2 full days without entering some kind of medical facility for myself or my children.

Did you know that in 2% of adults, strep throat causes a widespread rash that resembles chicken pox?

It does! Which I found of this morning, after having a widespread rash for nearly a week.

Day 3 in the peds ICU. Day 4 of hospitals in general. Nothing is worse than seeing your kid suffer and not being able to do a damn thing about it.

Today is the start of a much needed girls weekend. I’m in AZ for the weekend for Sara’s 40th and a weekend cabin in Sedona!

It’s the first time I’ve left Brandon alone with the children and the longest I’ve been away from the kids without Brandon. Truly a moms getaway weekend. I already miss all of them though. I’m just hoping to get some rest in ( Read more... )
