Something to ponder

I think it's about time I post something. I know it's been awhile. I usually have this problem where I have so much on my mind that I have a difficult time deciding what I should talk about in any single post. So, I've been thinking about one particular subject for quite some time and thought i'd make one of my rare posts

I wasn't aware about the athietst lobbyist (that has a nice ring to it) before this post. My first reaction is, "Well, that's silly," even though I am definitely not in the religious or Christian camps and understand how crazy religion the U.S. has become.

My reaction confuses me.

Well, you and I have these conversations every so often, and you know that I am pretty much Christian. So, I'm probably biased. However, I think it's a stretch to imply that atheists suffer in anything like the way most minorities do. Atheists aren't (any more than other folks) lynched or beaten up or denied home loans (or the right to get married) or the subject of online hate networks. As far as I can tell, atheists do about as well, financially, socially and otherwise, as anybody else
