today i heard that congress wants to "clean up/ censor" Cable TV. can this be true?

it very well can! supposedly the fcc is limited to broadcast media, since the airwaves are free to send signals over and free to receive, it's important that it's not indecent, right? which means television networks (janet jackson thing) and radio (howard stern), mainly. cable is different because people pay to transmit it and we pay to receive it. if the fcc can even legitimately monitor airwaves, it certainly shouldn't control other media. right?
