My Mom Rocks

Because my mom is awesome, she decided I need this. I was talking to her about wanting to do some carving and detail work on wands, when I make more of them, which is what prompted her to decide I need a Dremel tool

That is exactly the Dremel I got. I love the pistol grip, it is so much easier to use than the other style. Much easier on the hands. I use mine all the time. I drill beads out, pearls, shells, I have even used it to cut a dowel in half. I love it.

I'm so happy about it. The whole thing came up because my mother thought they had a wood carving kit somewhere in the depths of their tool-filled basement. She couldn't find it, but then decided a dremel tool would be easier for me to use and offered to get me one.

I'm glad to hear a firsthand account. It looks like it will be really comfortable to use. I'm going to make holes in everything...

But I have more jack o' lanterns to get out of my system first.

And I need to take some time to help my mother prune a few of the trees that need pruning so I can take the branches I need and dry them properly.
