I lay there for 1/2 an hour with this song playing over and over in my head, like it has on bad bad nights of insomnia for over 2 decades. Hell, the whole album will play in my head, in broken bits, from start to finish but mixed up and incomplete - or too complete, for hours sometimes.

Insomnia (you) or broken sleep from pain levels (me), not being able to sleep sucks.

Timing is everything. A friend reminded me on Friday to read 'Rat Girl' by Kristin Hersh. Sadly I had not listened to her in quite a while, youtube provided an enjoyable middle of the night distraction. I will also get up when the brain is rotating and/or on replay. That at least shifts gears whether I sleep or not.
