Little Jim Nightshade (AKA Selwyn)

Yesterday, a tiny beast came to live with us. Full name: James Selwyn Nightshade, but I'm pretty sure the name he's going to be called is Selwynn. Currently, it's nap time, so he is sacked out on the floor, purring like mad. As with all kittens, he has exactly two speeds GO and fast asleep

Selwynn is, like all kittens, utterly adorable. Glad to hear he's got good manners.

Very well adjusted kitten. H just came in and Selwyn hid behind the scratching post. H approached, S swatted, H retreated and looked confused, tried to approach again and got swatted at and decided to hop up on the desk and lounge. NO HISSING. Perhaps things will smooth out faster than anticipated, but I am not going to count on it.
