Did I say, this year will be better than last year? Ok, if I must correct my self. Yesterday I had an emergency call from a friend of mine. His mother is very ill, is in the hospital and It looks not very good. So I ran to Stuttgart, helped him to get a little bit grounded, searched for a train, wrapped his luggage and brought him to the station. ( Read more... )

Aww, D! We need to go to a spa somewhere, where the men of our choice will give us foot massages and speak gently to us in extremely sexy, comforting voices. I'm sorry you've had such a hard day. You're a wonderful friend - he's lucky to have you. I hope his mum will be ok.

And sending many, many good thoughts for you too! *HUGS!*

Hy Dear,

you´re so sweet. Thank you very much and ok, let´s hurry up. Where is our meeting point? ;-))

My friend knows that and he deserves everything I can do for him, but sometimes it costs too much energy. But you know that I´ll do almost everyhing for my friends, even if they live in GB...smile.
My friend is very sweet and gentle. It´s always fun to spend time with him, but the last year wasn´t his best at all. I´m at the moment a little bit nervous, cause I didn´t get a call until now. Hope he is ok.

Hug back

Hope you´ll have a splendid weekend

D.

I can see what you mean, but it can only get better from here on out. I hope your friends mother is doing okay. Can you get your money back and try someone else????
To bad that you are not able/allowed? to use the Internet in the office -- now who has ever heard of that. Well, actually I have, we weren't supposed to be on the Internet tooo much either at my last work place. But even my bosses were on e-bay during work hours (not the whole day, but sometimes....), so of course "we" were on there too.
Do you have to book the banquet threw that agency that gave you the addresses??? If so, that might be the reason that they haven't given you the full addresse -- otherwise you might be able to do it yourself and save money for you/cost them money.
And yes a sound proofed room would be great for me sometimes too.
Lot's of "hugs"

Hello Kara,
thanks a lot for your advice. It´s a little bit complicated. I´m only the second guide, so I can´t do anything as cancel the agency or so. But I´m angry about the whole thing. They get money for doing the work proper. I won´t get a cent and must now it down and do the work of the agency. But I´m really lucky, I can use the internet in my office so I´ll check the addresses during the next days.
The agency give us only the names and the area, nothing more, so nothing is booked. I´m not very good in speaking english on the phone but I´ll do the reservation if necessary, so the agency won´t earn more money than necessary. Let´s wait and see.

How are you? I´m really looking forward to meet you again, and yes during this time I´m definitely in Germany for some days, weeks or so ;-))).

Hugs back and have a good weekend with much fun and without boring

D

I'm sorry to hear you are having such a rotten time. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for your friend and his mother. If you need any practical help (legal research, restaurant research, ...) or just want to blow off some steam, you know you can give me a call anytime.

*industrial-strength hugs*
U.
