Its really amazing how heavily religious people are free to go up in arms when someone questions their beliefs with things like reason, logic or common sense. And yet seem feel its perfectly understandable for them to question the beliefs of others with such idea like 'they don't know everything so what that means is they are wrong and "God can do what he wants" or "Jesus makes it happen."'
I find it really quite strange since there is nothing about belief in gravity that excludes the influence of God or any other deity. I see no reason why God would have made physical laws like gravity to keep things working properly so it wouldn't have to keep pushing everything down all the time.
I'm pretty sure that scientists had no intention of trying to use theories of gravity to explain how angels fly or how Jesus ascended to heaven. I always figured the whole deal about divine acts were that they are exempt from physical laws.
I hope you read that article on Intelligent Design. Its quite a nice rebuttal.
Oh yes and I'm sure deep down you enjoy the Howie CD. Really though I should have burned you one of his shows. They are much better than the albums. That and his first CD is the better of the two. Bwuahahaha... hahaha......ahaha... ughh... I'm too old for this...
Well, there's still time. I'm heading up there the first weekend in September (2,3,4), though I'm sure most my time will be spent in Wolfville. I'll probably go to Wolfville first, move my stuff in, then go to Halifax on Sat and get my futon, trash can, table, chairs, etc... and head back to Wolfville. My dad will probably leave that night or Sunday morning. Hmmm... I should probably post this... oh, copy and paste. I remember my first computer. cutting and pasting was so much difficult back then...
