At work, we have a canteen where the food is mostly subsidized by the company and a large sitting area accompanying it. Yesterday, I sat with this young girl from Finance department. We started to talk about how the weekend was, etc. and she said that she went the her church, and so on. She asked what did I do and what will I be doing this coming

Ugh, that sort of thing makes my blood boil! I've never come face-to-face with someone who has that attitude but I've witnessed it on documentaries and such and it really gets to me that people can possess such ludicrous opinions.

Sorry you were faced with someone who shares these views, and that she said that about your poor grandmother :( I am certain she is not 'burning in the fires of hell'. How cruel of her to say that she is. Sounds like she's the one who needs saving to me ...

Thank you. I am still speechless about the whole thing. Just the thought or the image that my grandma is suffering is very distressing.
