seeing as how you love my mother (or, well, our mother... kind of....?), i thought i would divulge a little story. today after swimming, kevin and i went to my house to watch blade and get ourselves nice and fat with chocolate chip cookies so that the witch from hansel and gretel could make us into gingerbread men. i was feeling a little on the contemplative side, so i asked the perlita, "mother, would you love me if i had no legs, no arms, and no eyebrow?" she responded, "why would you not have any of those?"
"well, hypothetically."
and then she shrugged, grabbed my head, and sniffed my hair.
"your hair smells like pee! because chlorine smells like pee!"
and kevin just looked at her strangely and i began to wonder if she would REALLY love me if i had no eyebrows or limbs.
