The occasion was as a courier on a seniors' outing.

Number of seniors attending = 51
Number of walking sticks = 47
Number of mint humbugs = 1076
Cost of afternoon cream teas = £115
Number of additional grey hairs on my head = unknown (still counting)

My weekend was...

• Light & Shade
  
• 113 miles of lonely tarmac followed by 113 miles of wonderful companionship
  
• Tedious routine and interesting new experiences
  
• Boring English cheese and interesting Greek vegetarian food (not sure what it was, and if I'm honest I'm not sure it was Greek)
