I've spent a lot of time in the last few weeks "networking". This is what people do when they are un-and-semi-employed.

I know the inch guy!!! He swam in my pool a couple of times this summer!!! Very nice guy. =) And you're right! Totally not a scam artist! Although I don't know how well his idea is going. haha...

That M1 rail line...is dumb. The rail is supposed to be in the center of Woodward from downtown to new center and then...it will cross all lanes of traffic to move to the outside of the street as if goes north to the state fair grounds.
People have found a way to put the people mover on the ground - holy shit.

It's the other way around. "M1" is the private plan and is proposed to be along the sides of the road, and DDOT's public -plan is to continue in the more traditional (that is, the better way) from there along the center of the street.

The lots-of-stops-and-along-the-side thing is least-preferred by the feds, and TRU is trying to persuade the private funders to go with the federal recommendations so that they have a better system and can get public money as well.

If they build it as they have publicly announced it, it will be a useless clusterfuck.
