Surprise! Today I'm posting original Zelda and the Unibrows demo music. This is my rendition of a piece Paul wrote years ago. I recorded myself "singing" in "Latin" for it. The half-circle in front of the train station is being replanted in a grid pattern of concrete with ornamental grasses in between to reflect the state of the station. I haven't decided whether I think this is cool or not yet. I'm glad that the park is getting attention but I think that I will dislike or be neutral to the design. While looking at ( Read more... )

My nephew and his girlfriend are having a baby. This is on accident, but they have decided against abortion, which is good, but not against adoption, which may be something they should reconsider. "The Irishman", a new film with Christopher Walken, is not only filming in my neighborhood, but they are on my street right in front of Paul's house! Tonight, here on Wabash, they are going to BLOW UP A CAR.

George Jackson was one of Keith Olbermann's Worst Persons in the World last night for the DEGC's decision to demolish the last quarter of Tiger Stadium rather than allowing The Old Tiger Stadium Conservancy to continue raising money for its plans to turn the old ballfield into a park for little league and restore the last quarter of the structure ( Read more... )

I deleted my Myspace page. Facebook will stick around for a while, I think, but Livejournal holds firm unless Blogger can lure me somehow. Maybe one day soon I won't even mind when people text me.
