He picks up the phone. It's to the entire town because he's not sure who else to filter it to]

What's the point of this? To prove that I have nothing? You take away the one thing ....

[And then his eyes widen in terror as he spots the body that's laying there before him. Shot in the head. Dead. It's only then that he registers the smoking gun still in his hands. He... he killed someone?!]

No. Oh no. I...

[He tosses the gun down into the snow, trying to determine how best to leave this crime scene. At least he's already wearing gloves, so prints won't show up on the gun. And he didn't bleed anywhere, so no traces of blood or easily attainable DNA. Unable to stop himself, he ends up pulling out a blank card from his wallet, scribbling out a hasty message in pen.]

"The more I take, the more I leave behind."

[He... he's got to get the hell out of there. He nearly stumbles away from Johan's front yard, rushing to his car and hitting the gas as soon as he's inside.
