Anyone live in either Edmonton or Harlow, or on a convenient rail network between the two, who fancies putting me up for the night next Wednesday? I offer wine and gratitude

We're only convenient if you were driving.

Well, okay, we have a direct bus to Harlow from here, but it does take an hour, and you'd have to do Edmonton to us via Underground. I'm sure you could find something more convenient, but we are an option.
