Ino.

1. Ino's mother and much of the Yamanaka clan were killed when several buildings collapsed during the Kyuubi attack. Ino has never been very curious about the mother she never knew. This fact occasionally annoys Inoichi

5.Her powers have a lot more potential, and can be very versatile. Body possession is just the easiest place to start teaching a kid. The trick, Inoichi once explains to her teacher, is getting more subtle in invading the brain. Try invading only a part, looking at what is there, putting something in that wasn't there before, taking something out that you need. Ino will never find out about this conversation, but it will affect her more than she could ever realize.

This needs to be a fic.

1. He has an older sister, Sawako, who is three years older than him, and a younger brother five years his junior, who was a "surprise" baby. (Sawako is not heir though, as she chose to go to civilian school and pursue culinary arts. Inheritance and the accompanying duties were shifted to Chouji. When he is nine his favorite place to be is the western bakery she works at part-time. He is rather heartbroken when she leaves. Then she gets a job at a Barbaque place *_

1. Hinata and her mother were both present to give her uncle's body away to the Cloud-nin. Neither her father, Neji or his mother were present. She has always felt guilty about this, but it took over two years to finally understand exactly what had happened that day and why and how it really was all her fault

All of these were fab, but I especially liked the first and last ones - you can really see Hinata's attraction to the loud and cheerful.

1. Is an orphan. This is why she has no last name. Konoha gave her a "scholarship" to live off of while attending the acedemy. This was used to buy food and pay rent, mostly. Genma found her in an outlaying village on one of his team's earliest missions and his sensei brought her back to Konoha, citing that she had "potential

Two, the next day at practice Tenten spews out a very un-youthful but highly effective temper-tantrum at her teammates, screaming they better get their acts together because she wants more real missions with real paychecks and Gai-sensei is only insisting on teambuilding exersices because they are being brats.

It is not the fact that he's older that makes her say no to Genma's offer of a date. It is what she owes him, that makes her stay away. It replaces crying at the weapons store as her most awkward moment, and like at that day at the weapons store, she is a little surprised to find the *want* inside of her.

This, plus the previous backstory you mentions NEEDS to be a fic.

Poor Tenten, so overlooked or turned into a.... (insert boy's name) fangirl. She needs some fic that lets herrock on her own a little more, though I do like the obscure crack pairing of Genma and tenten.... so, I might just get around to this story...

Shikamaru!

1. He's not heir to the Nara clan. His father is head of a branch house. Shikamaru thinks it would be a big pain being a clan heir, though he's never voiced this to either Ino or Chouji. He also understood much earlier than either of those two what limitations and advantages such a position would dictate. As he grows older, only once does he consider how it might have made his life different
