So this past two weeks I've been trying to adjust to my new lifestyle. I went into the doctors cause i hadn't been feeling well lately, and they tested me for all kinds of things and when the doctor got the results of my blood tests, he called me immediately to get a prescription filled. That really sucks that you can't eat whatever you'd like to eat, but at least you don't have to give yourself insulin shots. I have a hard enough time imagining the finger-pricking, let alone shots.

Funny, I never thought I was this squeamish, but I couldn't imagine pricking my own finger on purpose. Eegshk.

When I'm back in Michigan, we should go out for a round of yummy, healthy food. Or we could even try to cook some! I'm probably not going to be much help though, except with the dishes.

I've head some rumors of Aug? Is this true?

That's a good attitude, Amanda. You've always got a good attitude. I hope you figure out how to handle this. There're lots of healthy things to eat here. Some of them even taste good.

The hardest part of Taiwan, I would think at least, would be the amount of rice, noodles, and fried food. I could be wrong but that's what comes to mind when I think of just about any Asian food.

They don't fry much. Grilling's the rage, here. Her dietary concerns won't be cause for conern.
