i loved drying flowers as a kid. i always tried to make potpuri. but it always smelled like asscrack ;_;. mind you i was like, 8

When I was little my mom told me that I could dry roses in the microwave to make potpuri. Never worked. It just cooked the roses and made a mess. Lol. I only learned how to dry them this way from my best friend recently.

i wish my grandmother still was able to grow the big, beautiful roses she grew when i was a kid. i would bathe with them and put them around the house. drying one the proper way would probably be so beautiful ;_;

My dad used to be into growing roses. He used to grow antique roses. But we never picked them, just smelled them and admired them on the stem. Antique roses aren't very good for drying or displaying anyway.
