The doctor pays little attention as the scene flashes across her Dreamberry screen, her own emotions overpowering whatever the dream itself is attempting to share with her. Liquid may be feeling warm and fuzzy after a sweet dream like that, but there is absolutely no way that Naomi would fall for any of it.
She fixes a piercing, hateful stare on the injured man once the dream concludes. That's pure venom in her voice.]
Snake would hear a slightly annoyed sound before the video feed clicked on; he was a bit irritated at being woken up again. He was actually sleeping halfway decently for once-- probably because of the painkillers they were giving him-- and he really wasn't appreciating being woken up at odd hours of the night.
To answer Snake's question, the face on his Dreamberry screen had a hell of a shiner.
It was painful, but it would heal up reasonably quickly and it wasn't an kind of unbearable pain, anyway. Nothing was badly damaged, just sore and annoying.
He might as well cut to the chase, though, since Snake didn't seem to want to.
"...I want to know something, brother. Why did you bother to help me? Why didn't you leave me to die?"
[Though Franziska has not yet had the delightful pleasure of interacting with Liquid Snake one-on-one before, the young prosecutor has memorized his criminal record by heart. It seems to be one foolishly incompetent mistake after the other with him. Not a major lawbreaker, but certainly an annoyance.
That icy cold smirk of hers is nowhere close to friendly.]
It's a shame that your foolish brother can't save you from the hours of community service you must complete upon your recovery.

Don't ever come near Frank again.

I only came after him for what he did to Brother. Beyond that, I have no business with him.

[And bitch that she is, Naomi hangs up. She's still a bit pissed over the whole repeated attempts at killing her bother thing.
She'll cool down eventually.]

It never happened. It's a dream, nothing more.
[No brother came to rescue Liquid in the desert.]

[It bothered him, though-- this dream, along with the fact that Snake had spared him when he was injured, was confusing him.]
[In his dream, he hadn't hated Snake. But that was just a dream, and it would never be like that in reality... right?]
...I didn't know you had a brother.

Community service is hardly a punishment that holds any terror for me. I don't need rescued from such a thing, Miss von Karma.

How perfectly commendable. A man who can accept his punishment with no complaints.

As any man should. I can take responsibility for my actions, Miss von Karma.
