The Tanglewood Boys ran the neighborhood like they owned it; and made anyone’s life a living hell if they wanted to. He was so certain that he would be one of them. It was very rare that a kid got out of the neighborhood that didn’t have the tattoo.
Then he managed to get to college and get a job at the lab. He thought he finally had his shot at actually being happy. Then he shot a cop and Sonny showed up as a suspect; telling everyone about his life growing up. When things couldn’t get any worse for him, Louie was beaten and Aiden…he just couldn’t take it.
When Mac showed up at the hospital after his brother was put in the hospital and let Danny collapse into his arms crying, something changed between them. Their relationship became different…something much deeper than a normal working relationship.
Maybe after all the crap he had gone through, he could finally be happy.

He was slowly only seeing one way out of this situation.
