A moment of levity

My father declared a week ago that he was done fighting and decided it was time to get on with dying. This is not, of course, a particularly funny situation. However, he has taken to asking "Am I dead yet?" when he wakes up and then expresses irritation to find that he is, in fact, still alive. All I can think of is Monty Python ( Read more... )

Eee PCs are only $250. They don't have CD drives or what have you, but they're great little machines for taking around when you need a computer but don't have a lot of room for stuff.

Go Litely (sp?) is such a deceptive name. Good at the doctor's. Poop on his head maybe?

As for your Dad, that just sucks. I can understand him not wanting to fight off an illness especially if it has been painful or very difficult for him. That doesn't make it suck any less for the people around him that care about him and have to take care of him through all of this.
