The lie doesn't go unnoticed and Gabriel squeezes Dean's knee beneath the table.
"Something's wrong. I think something happened to Amelia." He plowed on before Dean could object or get that Look on his face again. "I'm not going back, Dean. But I need to make sure she's okay."
He stays in unimpressed silence with raised eyebrows and pursed lips, before he sighs and throws his hands up a little. "Alright, Fine. Whatever. When are we leaving?"
Gabriel squeezes his knee again while Sam fiddles agitatedly with the napkin on the table. "I'd like to go soon, Dean. Please. I just need to make sure she's all right."
I can get us there faster if you want this over with. The suggestion is pushed along the bond shared between Dean and Gabriel. Texas has been a sore spot between the brothers since Dean's return and they had only recently made peace with that in the last few weeks.
