Fragging awesome weekend

Hahaha! I mean, if your life will be touring strawberry farms and drinking good beer, I don't know if that's all that bad a choice. :)

This family you're describing is very generous as they're sacrificing their time and convenience to be your host. They must really like you. I'm a little surprised they aired out their family issues to you like that. That would show they trust you at least and/or maybe they were seeing if you were interested in their eldest daughter despite her being a single mother.

It wouldn't be completely surprising to me if you came back with a Japanese bride--my cousin went off to Scottland and found her future Scottish husband on vacation--though differences in culture, language, etc. make that less likely. Taking this seriously, I would feel a bit intimidated by anyone who tried to pin me down at this stage in my life regardless of the circumstances. I got a dream.
