Why only a Mini? just trying it out? (Try out VMWare Fusion, if you get the chance)

No, for iPhone development. I don't want an iMac due to space and I can build a better gaming machine for much cheaper than a Mac Pro.

Oh, and I use VMWare Fusion at work to emulate some test servers.
