Fantastic visit to the Queen of Markets today. A sheer cacophony of sensations and tantalisation of the tastebuds. So much wonderful produce in all varieties. Actually, I'm mostly fine but I like sympathy. Worked from home which was great - especially as I actally did work. Lots to catch up on after hardly being in the office this week.

Struck by vomiting bug today. Very difficult to focus on a tehcnical discussion when you have to keep dashing out. Came home in the end - too dizzy.

Threw up on a commuter, which was not pleasant for either of us. Fortunately, not very much. Still feel rough.

It was the one day I had a social planned for after work too :(

Having turned me down for the highly paid civil society post, as maternity cover, they have now given me three projects that would have been done by that post ( Read more... )

I'm at the point of wanting to stick a skewer down my ear. I am fed up with something in my ear hurting every time I swallow. I don't belive the doctor when she says nothing is wrong - this is not normal.

But maybe acid would work better...

Onl temporary until Christmas, but it's a promotion.

Internet connection has been lasting about two seconds before disconnection since Saturday. It is driving me insane. No clue what the problem might be.

I think that row may actually have broken the ice. We seem to be getting on a bit better now.
