Well I said I was going to post some of the music boxes I got since my last post (which was more that 2 years ago?!? Time flew by so fast!) Now that I was getting pics and audio clips ready, I realized I had enough One Piece music boxes for a whole post. So that's what you get below. I'll work on the other anime music boxes for my next post.
To look at my other music boxes, here are links to my previous posts:
Music box post (Part 1) Music box post (Part 2) I'll post audio link for the titles of the song. In the past, some have experienced the song play faster than it should, so if that seems to be the case just download the audio files locally.
Recently, there was a sudden surge of "One Piece" music boxes. I put One Piece in quotes because I don't know if these are licensed material considering the boxes they come in:
Included in the treasure chest boxes are the dome shaped music boxes. The makers put a nice touch and painted compass arrows on top to make it look like a log pose. I saw another box that has the same song list, but instead of the box looking like a treasure chest, it has silhouettes of the Strawhats on wanted posters.
The music boxes that come from the Pirate Orgel box are small rectangular ones. I also saw another box with the same song list, and the box has a pirate ship on the cover.
I like the design for this box, as the music box looks better displayed inside the box than outside.
Now, on to the music box themselves:
Tune:
We Are! Let us start with the first Opening Song. All 3 version have We Are! I also just included just one audio link for all the music boxes since all use the same tune.
Tune:
Believe Just one version for Believe, and it is part of the Wanted music box set.
Tune:
Hikari E The musical frame pictured is an official version. This was the only musical frame I've found for One Piece, so I don't know if others exist.
Tune:
Kokoro no Chizu I wonder how they decide which songs to make a music box?
Tune:
Jungle P Only part of the Pirate Orgel set.
Tune:
Share the World All three versions have Share the World.
Tune:
Kaze wo Sagashite At the time these music boxes came out, this was the current Opening theme.
Tune:
Bink's Sake The song Brook and his crew sang, and apparently a popular pirate song.
Tune:
Fanfare Theme song of the most recent One Piece movie Strong World.
Tune:
Family Song sung by the cast and used for a TV special. Only part of the treasure box set.
Tune:
Thousand Dreamers Another song sang by the cast, I think this was a promotional item that came with the purchase of the single. At the bottom of the ship is a base where you wind it up. Then the ship actually sways in place while the tune plays. It is roughly 8 inches tall.
And that's all the One Piece music boxes I have. Hopefully I can post my other music boxes soon (Ranma, Cardcaptor Sakura, Emma, Nadesico to name a few...)
