Look at this - not only did I promise to post stuff here, but I am actually following through!

I have a new embroidery project about to kick off, and a little tiny one that I have just finished.

I like the little beastie. The coif looks like lots of patience. Out of curiosity, what is the design marked with?

I was a bit naughty with the markikng out of the pattern - I just used an Officeworks brand cheapo artline-type felt tip pen. Not the best choice for something like this, but I did do a rinse test and it didn't run, so I figured it should be ok.

And yes, this is going to be a seriously long-term project. Even when it's done I won't be wearing it! I like Elizabethan embroidery, but not the clothing. It's just going to look pretty on a stand...
