Neal the hero in disguise. Like the use of Alex instead of Kate for some reason.

I love this! Neal's always been a bit more hero-like than is probably good for him, no matter what side of the law he's on ;-) And I love Mozzie making sure Neal's okay, no matter what, even if that involves getting much closer to the suits than he'd prefer.

yeah, neal's a hero for justice, I'd say, in the same way as peter's a hero for the law (the two being separate entities).

I absolutely agree! Even Peter has to admit the law's not perfect, but justice is at least supposedly always there, regardless of legal systems. And while Neal sometimes makes spectacularly bad decisions, a lot of the time, he's *not* thinking of the risk to himself, even when he sometimes *should* ;-)

Oh I adore this story. Peter and Mozzie interaction was totally IC. I love the interaction between Neal and Peter, Mozzie and Alex coming in and rescuing Neal and Mozzie wanting to blare the sirens :D

This is great. I love Mozzie coming to the rescue (twice!) despite all his misgivings, and Peter's color-coding is so cute!
