Birthdays?

Can someone please tell me how to keep track of birthdays coming up on LJ & DW? I only know one person's ahead of time bc hers happens to be the same as mine. I'm clueless about anyone else.

I usually get notifications for birthdays a couple of days ahead both in the Inbox and on the side of my flist feed (of those I'm subscribed too), as well as in my email inbox. The same goes for the inbox over at DW. And I know that in both cases I've never, ever clicked the checkboxes for birthdays when I add someone to my flist (LJ) or circle (DW).

I actually turned on email notifications for that not terribly long ago. Let me see if I can find it again...

Ok, yes. Go to your profile page, and across the top (starts on the left side), there is a row of icons, and the 5th one over (on mine) is "manage your notifications" and on that page is a list of all sorts of options, and one of them will be to send you an email when a friend has a b'day. :)
