Life changes so quickly. Its funny because when you are young you always think at that moment you are wisest. At 15 no one can tell you this or that because wait you know it all. i can't believe how similar our background is as far as church/religion/christianity!! although, i spent the better part of 10 yrs at an independent baptist church and school (5k-12th grade) that was similar to the church that had those kids trash their non-christian music. hell, i was even in a christian rock band!! HAHA ( ... )

Hi Rach! I am so glad you read my post...not really sure what spurred it on yesterday but I couldn't stop writing. That is very interesting we had similar religious backgrounds and it is interesting that we both have pretty much the same view point about it now! In regards to the children question, I feel that our children will be free to visit friends churches or attend one that they feel applicable to their life. I have no problem with that. Most importantly I hope that we can instill in our children openmindedness and acceptance. I do believe because Josh and I both grew up as Christians that it might be good to have our children involved in some type of Christian church especially at a young age. This way I feel that when they are teenagers and young adults they have a basis to grow their own beliefs no matter what they might be. I want them to have friends of all religions and understand that that is ok. I want them to be interested in their friends religions as well and have knowledge of these different systems.
