Christmas update, as I feel like I have been cut off from the world as of late.. which is actually kind of a nice feeling because it means I am not tied to my desk at work, but instead am visiting with family and travelling and sitting by the pool.

5.5 hours to go!! wahoo!

Soooo tired. Working until 8pm tonight. Ho hum. It's really cold outside, and the kids floor downtown is dead on a normal night. So there is like NO ONE here. Do you think anyone would notice if I took a little nap? Might just play solitaire all night. Or internet Tetris.

Let's see now... 8.5 hours to go now until holidays start.

sigh.

It seems that everyone I know is on holidays already, and talking about sleeping in, and baking cookies in the afternoon, and putting Bailey's in their morning coffee.

Tell me I am not the only one still at work this week. Tell me someone else has to wait until 4 pm on Christmas Eve to start their holiday.

Eeep! PP came by the library to drop off his keys, and my manager walked by while we were making out in the program room. Luckily, she rolled with the high level awkwardness by cheerfully introducing herself. I love my boss!

At my last dance class, my ballet teacher told me "You are lovely to watch".

I strutted around for about 2 hours after that.

I'M GOING TO LAS VEGAS ON THURSDAY!!!! WOO-HOOOOOOO!!!!

I just chaired a meeting, where our invited guest called me Leslie the entire time. The first time she said it, I wasn't sure who she was talking to, so I didn't say anything. And then it seemed too awkward to correct her afterwards. So apparently, I will just have to call myself Leslie from now on.
