The cat's sick. She's spending the night at the veterinary hospital. According to Dad, though, she's been improving, so hopefully I'll be able to go pick her up tomorrow. It's kind of lonely being the only living being in the house.

What'd your kitty come down with? I hope she improves in any case.

She started vomiting and she had some pain coming from her abdomen -- she'd cry out when someone tried to put a hand under her there to pick her up. The x-rays showed something in her intestine, and the vet thought it was either inflammation or a foreign object. Since the barium seems to be going through, though, it's looking like it will be the former, but it's hard to say until the next batch of x-ray results comes in.
