being Australian, it really doesn't surprise me about the PNG birds being poisonous. after all, they're our cose neighbours, and here we ave some extremely strange things that are dangerous ;0

Dangerous, exotic and photogenic critters - sounds like I would be in heaven there! Seriously, I would love to live in Australia or NZ. The wildlife is just amazing. As a side note, I wonder if they make a Florida for Dummies book? It may save a lot of tourists' lives...like the idiots that go parasailing when there's a thunderstorm brewing or the ones that don't seem to grasp the concept of "Don't feed or molest the alligators."

OMG - that sign is so hilarious. Made my morning! It's like the gators know what is says and are just...waiting... Did you take that pic? If so, can I repost (with due credit of course)? Perhaps those Japanese tourists would like a crack at waking up those bad boys instead of messing with the seals - lol!
